OWL’s ultimate goal is to walk our clients through the security life-cycle and get clients to
a point where they are comfortable with their level of security and the risk associated with
their enterprise. To determine the risk level of a particular vulnerability, OWL employs the
DREAD Model (Damage, Reproducibility, Exploitability, Affected users and Discoverability) to
objectively classify operational vulnerabilities. Results from our assessment activities are then
filtered through the Threat Matrix Model to indicate vulnerability severity.
